5.Additional Information

Dragon fruit comes in several varieties. Personally, I've come across two types: one with pink skin and purple flesh, and another with yellow skin and white flesh, although these can be somewhat elusive to find.

I have a fondness for smoothies and greatly enjoy experimenting with new recipes. They offer a wonderfully nutritious breakfast option, requiring no hassle of slicing or cooking.

Presenting a wholesome recipe that demands just a handful of key ingredients.

Ingredients of dragon fruit

1. Medium sized dragon fruit-3

While my quest for pink-fleshed dragon fruit led me to procure the white fleshed variety, don't worry, as the white one works perfectly well too.

2.Ripe frozen bananas-2

I recommend freezing two peeled bananas for a duration of 4 to 6 hours. This frosty touch lends a velvety consistency to the smoothie.

3. Milk-2 cup

Should you prefer a vegan approach, various plant-based milk alternatives are at your disposal. However, traditional cow's milk can be used as well. In this particular concoction, I opted for almond milk resulting in a delightful flavor.

4. Sweetness (Optional)

Sweetness as desired, using options like dates, maple syrup, or jaggery.

In my rendition, I embraced the innate sweetness of the ingredients, forgoing the addition of any extra sweeteners. Ripe bananas serve as a natural enhancement to the overall sweetness.

5. Chocolate powder-3 tsp

I have a strong affinity for the taste of chocolate, so I decided to incorporate 3 tsp of chocolate powder into my smoothie.

For an extra nutritional boost, consider incorporating nut butter or  a selection of seeds such as chia seeds or flax seeds.

Feel free to experiment with these enriching elements to further elevate the nutritional profile of your smoothie.
